JON HOPKINS ON HIS COLLABORATION WITH A CAVE
Eileen and Tamsin talk to Jon about the experiences from his trip to the Tayos Caves in Ecuador which inspired his new long form composition. In this conversation Jon tells us how he used the field recordings made by neuroscientist Mendel Kaelen on our 2018 expedition and describes the scenes and spaces of the cave that the composition journeys through.
